Short Update!!

Im in Friendz Cafe now with Tsu..

Juz a short update on the things i did last week..

Din do much last week since exam is around da corner.

.

Exactly one week ago (last sun),

I went to DLHY's place 4 steamboat dinner (since her parents was away)

(but the dinner turn out to be a halloween party..haha).

.

Some of the food we had for that day..

The ikan bilis soup by Val was good!

And the tong sui was ok (not tht sweet)

Next, was a simple dinner wit Big J's bf...

Next, was some medicine for me since i fell sick on Tuesday..

I think i had food poisoning (i vomited n my stomach was felling well)

Thank god i managed to recover quickly..

Next was followed by a visit to the US embassy as well as MCA building..

Went down to KL 2 times juz for my visa interview and visa collection..

I'm glad that i hav gotten myself a visa for work and travel US..

(Thank god the interview was easier then my previous one)..

.

Well, that is all for my weekly update..

Go to go now.. I think my Chiang Mai Fried Rice is ready ady!!

First of all, Happy 54th Monthly Anniversary,darling..

Really wish that i can see you right now..

Cant wait to see you already.. Still need to wait for 1 more month.

(Make sure u bring me out for a nice dinner on 0ur next anni k?haha)

Juz wanna say thank you darling for always being there for me

(not physically but mentally/emotionally)..

I would not be so strong without ur support.. U rocks!!

Contact Singapore 2009, Day 4

Sorry for not updating my blog for few days..

This post is suppose to be up yesterday..

But sadly i fell sick after my visit to KL..

(Thank god i only fell sick after the visit to KL not b4)..
Btw, juz a continuation of my Singapore Trip..

.

Day 4 (26/07/2009-Sunday)

.

My Contact Singapore programme ended on the Sat night..

But i have extended my stay till Mon evening for shopping and visiting!!

.

Our first stop for tht day was 2 Plaza Singapura since we stop at Dhoby Ghout.

Breakfast was at Burger King since my bf was craving for it =)

Then it was followed by some mall hopping

Since it was the last day of Spore Sale..

.

Lunch was at Food Republic, Wisma Atria

Darling had beef noodles. While i had chicken chop..

Next stop was to Bugis for more shopping and snacks =)
Love shopping in Bugis cuz everything is damn cheap.
But i dislike the crowd there.. Too crowded..

Left Bugis and decided to head to Clarke Quay for a nice dinner..
But when we were on our way to Clarke Quay.. Daniel called..
He ask us whether we are free to attend his sis' wedding anot?
Took us quite long think wther to go or not to go for the dinner..
.
In the end we choose to attend the dinner..
Went back to our hotel for a quick shower..
Did some express make-up and then took a cab to Boat Quay..

Happy Halloween to Everyone.. Trick or Treat?? hehe..

Anywayz, i juz got back from my cousin's 21st bday party..

Since i have no mood to do other stuffs, i decided to update my blog!

.

Continuation of my Day 3 in Singapore (25/07/09)

The day started off with breakfast at the resort..

Followed by a coach to Contact Singapore Office @ Raffles City..

The first session 4 tht day was a sharing session by Malaysian working in Sg.

The Group and also some fellows Malaysian that work in Singapore

After the sharing session, it was followed by a tour to Marina Barrage!!

After the tour, we headed to Chinatown for lunch..
Suppose to hav lunch in Newtown but ended up in Chinatown..

The Camera Crew that follow us (Chye Soon, JoLeen, Jia Lynn and Moi) around in Chinatown during our shopping.. All the people in ChinaTown were looking at us, they thought we were some local celebrity.. Damn Funny la.. haha..

After our free and easy session at ChinaTown, it was followed by a visit to LTA Gallery Tour.. It was a great tour.. Managed to learn the history of transportation.. Cant wait for the new innovation of transport in Spore..

After the LTA Gallery Tour, it was followed by a treasure hunt..

We were separated into groups and assigns with some clues..

The day ended with a closing dinner session at Clarke Quay..

Dinner was in some nice Balinese restaurant in Clarke Quay..

After the closing dinner it was followed by a Free and Easy Session..

The rest went to Marina Bay for Singapore Flyer..

As for me, i waited for my darling to pick me up at Clarke Quay..

(Btw, my darling came to Singapore to join me!!)..

Then we headed to our hotel for a quick shower.

(Btw, we stay in ParkRoyal Hotel at Kitchener Road)

After i shower, we went to Novotel Hotel to pick up my luggage..

The Next Stop was to St.James to club..

Did some club hopping cause we din really enjoy the place!!

The night ended with a yum cha session somewhr near ParkRoyal Hotel!!

I think i only slept at 5ish am that day.. Crazy man! But i did enjoy =)

Singapore Trip 2009, Day 1&2

Finally im done with my BKK Trip..

After my BKK trip, it was followed by a trip to Singapore..

This Singapore trip is not purely a relaxing trip, it is part of work/uni.

I remember applying 4 this work & travel programme Spore in May.

.

I was happy to b selected 4 this programme

Since da requirement for this programme is quite high..

Requirements: A Distinction and above CGPA & a 500 words essay..

Besides tht, they only have 20 spots for students from 4 uni

(Taylors, Monash, Inti and Help)..

.

Btw, i only pay RM 300 for this 4D/3Ns programme

(subsidized by Contact Singapore-Organizer)..

.

23 July 2009 (Day 1)

The programme started off with a meet up at Ancasa Hotel, KL..

The coach pick up was at 7pm.. Didnt do much much in da bus..

Other than watching Ugly Betty (i brought my mini Dell along)..

Suppose to reach our resort at 12.30am, but we ended up reaching at 1ish

Btw, we stayed at Goldkist Resort located at East Coast Park..

Sleep at 3am tht night and woke up at 6.30am the next day..

24th July 2009 (Day 2)

The day started off with a breakfast at the Resort..

Followed by a coach to the Contact Singapore's office @ Raffles City.

Btw, the attire for the second day was formal wear..

.

After a brief introduction at Contact Singapore's Office..

We headed to the Urban Development Authority (URA)

After a short presentation at URA, we had a Singapore Gallery Tour..

After the tour, we headed for lunch at Boat Quay..

After our lunch, we headed to CPA Australia for a short talk..

After a short talk at CPA Australia, we headed back 2 Contact Spore's office

The next agenda was a Networking Session wit Recruitment & Audit Firms.

Manage to meet up with ppl from Kelly Services and S Lim & Co

After the session it was followed by some yummy refreshment by Delifrance

Thanks to Contact Singapore for feeding us non-stop with yummy food!!

The Networking Session was the last programme for the day..It was then followed by a free and easy time at Orchard Road..

Managed to spot some prostitutes waiting/looking for customers..

Sadly those tht we saw was not as chun as those i saw b4 last yr..

Anywayz, after that we headed back to our resort..

By the time we reach our reach it was already 1ish am..

It was a tiring day cuz we woke up at 6.30am and only sleep at 3am again!!

Anywayz, i think tht is all 4 my Day 1 & 2 in Spore or else it will be damn long.

Bangkok 2009, Day 5

Finally i m here to blog about my last day in BKK..

So 4 da last day, v still manage 2 do some shopping (Flight at 6pm)

We went 2 Central Childlom 2 shop instead of Zen World..

Managed to get some bras from Central

(The place that i usually do my bra shopping when im in BKK).

.

Our simple lunch for that day...

Some noodles and thai fish paste!!

Suppose 2 spend only 2 hours in Central but v ended up spending 4 hrs thr..

It was raining so we couldnt leave the place and there werent any cab..

Therefore, our plan for massage was cancelled due to the rain..

(My dar was disappointed cuz he couldnt go 4 massage-i feel bad)..

.

After shopping, we got back to our hotel to get the luggage,

And then headed to the airport straight..Reach airport at about 3ish..

Went there with one luggage.. But came bag with 4 full bags & 1 Suit bag!!

I wonder what i bought during the trip =)

As i was telling my darling tht i always see tons of Indians buying TV back to their country and so ngam as i was saying, i saw a group of Indians and their TV.. This is juz part of it, i think there were about 15 pcs of Bravia.. haha.. Izzit really cheap to get a TV in BKK??

.

Overall, the trip was perfect.. The shopping was great, the company was great and the weather was great (not so hot).. I really did enjoy my trip.. Btw, i think i had like 10 bottles of Betagen (yogurt drink freak).. haha.. And one thing i like about this trip is that i will always (everyday) come bag with at least one full bags of goods =) Thanks darling for the great trip.. Thanks for being such a good shopping kaki.. Heart you =)
