One Day before New Year

Tomorrow will be a new year..

Which mean this will be the last day of 2008..

So, since today is the last day,

i decided to post up a simple post to end my year 2008

2008 have been a great year..

Did alot of travelling with my dar, family and my friends..

Learn so many new things from culture stuffs to ....

Definitely 2008 was a fun year...

(which i thought it will be a difficult year for me

cuz my dar is not around with me.. but guess wat?

i managed to handle LDR period nicely)

In this post, i would take an opportunity to thanks a few people for being there for me throughout the year (a simple appreciation post from the bottom of my heart)

One day it can be sunny,

but the next day can be thunder storm..

Seriously, is damn hard to predict the weather..

Thank god for weather forecast everyday..

The best weather ever..

It was 14 celcius that day..

No more snow and here comes the sun..

This is the first time i see no snow in KZoo..

(Wondering why is the road so wet??

Ans:Not bcuz of rain, the snow has melted)

That day, I only managed to stand out for 5 mins.. haha..

But that is good enough..

Even though the weather was 14

but it was still windy .. u can see from my hair..

which means is still cold =)

Proud of myself.. haha..

It was a nice weather that day, but we didnt manage to anywhere far..

Or do anything special..

Cuz we woke up late.. Woke up at 3pm..

By the time we are ready , it was already 4pm..

So we only managed to go for car wash..

As well as Wal-Mart for some fresh meats..

A Trip to Michigan City

It has been few days since i last blog..

Have been goin out non-stop this few days..

But i guess i will start to stay in soon..

Cuz the weather has been evil to us..

Before i head out today, the weather was negative 12

but it turns out to be negative 16

once i step out of the house...

So cold... So irritating.. So icy..

.

.

Enough complains of the weather..
Back to the topic of this post...

This post will be about my trip to Michigan City..

(another outdated post- 2 weeks ago)

As usual of pic of me before i go out..

But this time is a different mirror..

We left the house at 11ish and headed to Checkers for lunch before we start our journey to Michigan City.. Thank God that day the weather that was nice..If i not mistaken i think around negative 4 only..

Btw, my dar dar didnt drive that day..So we both sit at the back seat..And the front sit was occupied by PC and PN..

The journey from K'Zoo to Michigan City took about 1 hr 30 mins.. Something like from KL to Malacca (A bit further only)

The Main objective to Michigan City was to shop at the outlet..

So the first thing we did was to the

Lighthouse Premium Outlet to shop..

Btw, i have been eating early dinner nowadays... Cuz of the sky..
Wonder why i say cause of the sky??
The sky here turns dark at around 4ish...
Will makes my day end earlier.. haha..

The Food at Old Country wasnt good..

But luckily the dessert there is nice..

The price was affordable - only USD 12 per person..This is consider affordable for buffet cuz my normal dinner also cost at least USD 10 ady..And seriously, i have lost track of the amount of money i pay for food.. (I mean not me, my darling.. haha)

Btw, this is the outcome for that day..

Seriously, this amount is incomparable with

the stuffs i bought during my Chicago Trip..

Overall, my trip to the Michigan City the trip was good.. The companions was fun.. The shopping outcome was okay.. Cant wait for more trips.. haha.. I guess that is enough for now.. Got to go now.. Wanna sleep already =) Will be blogging soon..

We had our anniversary dinner at AppleBee's
Suppose to go somewhere further for dinner...
But tak jadi.. Cuz suddenly snow storm...
(Was rushing out tht day, didnt check the weather)..
So we ended up at West Main..

US Trip Day One and Two

Back to blogging again cuz sis have been complaining that i have not been updating my blog... To satisfy her, i decided to post up a few pics of my US Trip.. Btw, i juz got back from Chicago (2 days 1 night trip).. Basically we went there for shopping.. And the outcome of the shopping was good.. But it made a deep hole in both my dar and my pocket.. haha.. Will blog bout the short trip when i'm free =)

Back to the first few days when i reached Kalamazoo,Michigan.. The place whr ppl called it K'Zoo...

.

2 big bags (23 kg each), 1 hand carry , 1 laptop bag

*Btw, juz wanna thanks darling and YC (darling's second housemate) for picking me up from the airport (2 hours++ drives from K'Zoo to Detroit, total of 5 hrs drives)

My first meal in United States was at Popeyes for fried Chicken..

The meal was kinda pricey..

8 pieces of chicken for USD 25..

(which considered cheap for a meal in States)

And the taste was so so only.. Nothing special..

As for dinner, i had pasta from Chillis..

Btw, guess wat is this??

Answer: My new laptop sleeve from LeSportSac..

Found it on my dar's bed when i enter his room..

So sweet of him.. Thanks baby for the cute laptop sleeve..

Fyi, this wasnt the only present from him..

He bought me a box of stuffs man.. Thanks baby..

But i still think this is the best gift =)

(Imagine living in a country with the weather of 28 Celcius

At first i was damn excited to see snow cuz i was hoping for a white christmas.. But now i realized something-One thing bad about snowing is every time before you go out you have to clean the snow on the car... Damn torturing okay?? Cause you have to clean the snow under heavy snow storm... Thank god i don have to do that.. Cuz my darling will be doing it.. haha

Well, these are the few pics that took when i first reach his place.. Didnt take much picture on the first few days cause i was not in the mood (to take pics) cause of the cold weather.. Besides that, we didnt do much on the first few days cuz my darling was having exams and the weather was horrible until i don dare to go out.. So we only managed to go out for food not shopping.. But don worry, i will have more pictures coming up (my mood of snapping away is back).. So stay tuned!!
